I found this picture on flickr.com and I just had to share it. All I could think of was on Saturday seeing my niece stretching and practicing doing side splits as she watched a cheerleading competition on t.v. I just didn’t realize that cats could be that flexible too.
I try to stretch a few times a day especially when I’m at my desk at work. Our friend Steve who is a physical therapist gave me a little printout of ones to do and I also found these yoga-based stretches that are good too. I have far less tension headaches now and I rarely need mega-doses of ibuprofen anymore. Stretching is good for you!
I’ll put away my little soapbox for now.
