Although we’ve explored several mid-strip hotels, my favorite overall so far has to be Caesar’s Palace. The casino, hotel and shops have high ceilings and the lighting is bright with gold tones — nice and warm. The statues and relief carvings everywhere are amazing and give the hotel a feeling of luxury and history.

We stumbled upon the FAO Schwarz store in the Caesar’s Forum shops. It was hard not to spot with the three-story tall, toy trojan horse in the doorway. It worked on us and pulled us right into the store. Great marketing.

I probably won’t have internet access for a few days but I’ll be sure to keep track of our adventures and write a post as soon as I can.
