I’ve finally posted some of our first day’s pictures from Las Vegas to our flickr account. I separated out the pictures from “Star Trek: The Experience” in case you are not a Trekker (and if you’re not, shame on you!). The main Las Vegas set will continue to grow over the next few days. Uploading and labelling takes some time and I’m a busy girl!
The best part of “Star Trek: The Experience” was during the “Klingon Encounter” where we got to walk down a hall on the Enterprise and stand on the bridge. It was surreal. We were behind the tactics station and Randy tried to launch the aft photon torpedos. Nice. He could have started another war with the Klingons and we’d have ended up on Rura Penthe or something.
They had some animatronic Borg drones and I happened to notice that the Borg seem to go barefoot. (I think the Borg Queen wears boots or something but one out of a bzillion Borg doesn’t count.) Barefoot is good. Resistance is futile.
