Randy and I are back on the road again for a few days. It seems like we’ve travelled so much lately that we have some sort of revolving door at our place.
Luckily for me, Randy thought ahead and borrowed some books on tape from our library for the trip. We do talk and listen to some music but after a while, it’s nice to just listen to a book. This time he got us a Jack Higgins book called “Day of Reckoning.” We enjoy Higgins’ books especially the early books about the character Sean Dillon. (Secretly, I like the fact that Sean is always driving his Mini Cooper around which makes me feel like a bit of spy myself.) Higgins’ writing is not as detailed and involved as John Grisham or Tom Clancy but his stories are a lot of fun with colorful characters for us readers to live through vicariously.
I think I have internet access for our whole trip so I’ll post some pictures of our little adventures. You can live vicariously too.
