I dreamt last night that I was driving our friend David’s red Jeep® Wrangler (David doesn’t own a Jeep® but we just hung out with his wife Christina and him last night). It was raining and I had to slow the Jeep® down but it started to skid and I was about to roll. Somehow I kept it on the ground and was able to keep going. I suppose I’m trying to keep life from spinning out of control.

Right now I’m too melancholy to be excited but I know the thrill of the adventure of moving to a new place will set in eventually. For me, it’s like when we go on vacation. I’m stressed out packing and seeing to the details. It’s when we finally arrive at the airport and are sitting at the gate that I calm down and the relaxation and anticipation will set in. Randy has now coined this process as “getting to the airport” and let me tell you, we’re a long ways off at this point.
