Yesterday we had a great moving sale with the help of our dear friends Todd and Emily. I felt felt a bit vulnerable seeing our things spread across folding tables and piled in boxes and watching total stranger rummage through it. Granted, they were things we no longer wanted or valued but it can be difficult to put a bargain basement price on one’s memories.
Last night we slept the deep sleep of the exhausted.
Today there are tornado warnings all over central Kentucky but that won’t stop us from jumping into a busy day. After church today, I’ll be packing, packing, packing. Tonight the church is throwing us a nice going away reception. I’ll try not to get too teary-eyed and hopefully they won’t request any speeches. I’m hoping they serve a chocolate cake but I doubt I’ll be so lucky.
