If you’ve got access to coffee houses with free Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, count yourself lucky. The internet access at my brother’s condo. has been down for a couple of days and because of the snow here in Seattle, Comcast can’t do much about it very soon. It’s a very frustrating situation for us all.
I resorted to checking out the local Starbucks here in Lynnwood and instead of free Wi-Fi like I’m accustomed to, I had to sign up for a T-Mobile account! Ugh. Luckily, I get 24 hour free access to try it out but still, this was less than convenient. I suppose there’s no such thing as a free lunch and perhaps the local customers here were taking advantage of free access or perhaps T-Mobile just offered Starbucks a good deal. Either way, I’m less than impressed.
We went to Alderwood Mall here yesterday and actually found one of the few Seattle’s Best Coffee stores in the area. SBC was bought out by Starbucks and seems to be getting stamped out of exsistence. I was lucky enough to taste their fabulous mocha once more, including the free piece of dark chocolate included with every mocha, and now have my eye on one of their logo emblazened mugs to add to our growing collection. First Torrefazione and now SBC have been gobbled up by Starbucks. I don’t hate Starbucks, but their rating is declining even more in my book.
Well, I’m going to head back to the ranch and play the Lego® Star Wars™ The Video Game with my nephew. This game is too cute and makes me want to buy a new game system just so I can play it.

Did you know that SBC is here in town down the street from me at Fazolli’s. Probably abotu a year ago, the Fazolli’s on Nville Road started selling breakfast (test area) with full cappicino’s, mocha’s, pastries, etc.. They also have Wi-Fi. I don’t know if any other ones in town or otherwise are selling breakfast or Seattle’s Best at this point. I haven’t stopped by Fazolli’s for breakfast, but they have a big sign “Serving Seattle’s Best Coffee”. The dude at the end of our street runs the test kitchens or something like that. Anyhow, stop by next time you are in town for a mocha.
I saw some SBC coffee at the store today, and thought of you!
Mmm. . .SBC mochas are my favorite. I did buy that mug, but the way, and I love it.
Thanks for thinking of me!
