Looks like while I was away in Seattle, I missed a wonderful snowstorm in Charlottesville.
I had a lovely visit in Seattle with family and friends and am still reflecting on it. I’ve posted a few pictures on our flickr photostream.
It is a bit strange to be back in Charlottesville. It hasn’t been a month since we’ve moved here, but in reality I’ve only been in this city for about two weeks with all of our recent travel.
We’re supposed to get an ice storm here tomorrow. I suppose it wouldn’t be a good day to finish up my Christmas shopping as I hear that the roads will be quite treacherous. Of course, it might be a good day to go to the post office as perhaps the weather will keep away the last-minute-mailers like myself. (When I stopped there today to post some Christmas cards, there were 43 people in line. Luckily, I’d already bought stamps.) Nah, maybe I’ll use the day to attack the miscellaneous piles of stuff that haven’t found a home in our new place. I’ll be lucky if it takes only one day. (Where do all these papers come from anyhow?? They seem to multiply like tribbles.)

I love you so this is why I can say it: Are you going through the stack of magazines??????? That you should of thrown away? Ha! Ha! Ha! Clean house girl!
Just kidding. I thought it would be a funny thing to add. Hope it makes you smile.
Just to clarify: Clean House. I do not mean that your house is dirty. I mean get rid of stuff that you do not need. You know what I mean right?
Leslie, you’re so bad! No, the magazines I do toss. It’s the miscellaneous papers that drive me crazy. I haven’t set up a system here yet to handle incoming mail and even though we just moved, we still get tons of mail. As for tossing the stuff we don’t need, well, you’re right. We’re working on it. Our big garage sale before we moved helped but there’s always more to toss and give to charity.
