I’ve been experiencing some symptoms of preeclampsia for a week now, but since my symptoms are not “full-blown” my doctor has hesitated in inducing labor. Well, as the baby is technically due on Monday, at my last visit, he strongly insinuated that at my appointment today, he’ll arrange for me to be induced even if my preeclamptic symptoms haven’t worsened.
For Randy, I’ve likened how I feel to being on a rollercoaster. I’m on that freaky part at the beginning, the “click click click” part where you’re on the first big incline. There’s no way to stop the ride at this point. I know there will be an end to it but I’m scared and nervous about all the loops and turns I’ll have to go through to get there.
My folks arrived from Seattle on Saturday and my mother is cooking up a storm (food is love in my family). It’s so nice to have them here with us.
