Mining for Chipotle Chips

Today, Kes and I stopped at Chipotle before taking her to get her hair cut. Luckily Kes loves the chips at Chipotle (seeing as she doesn’t seem to eat much ‘real’ food in general).

We just sat there, me eating my fajita bowl, Kes pulling out one chip at a time and nibbling on it. She would offer me a chip which I’d accept and thank her, and she’d give me her little, “You well-pin,” her toddler version of “You’re welcome.” We sat there, eating, smiling, talking about the cars in the parking lot, the baby crying nearby and it was lovely. Nothing amazing, nothing earth-shattering, but it was one more little building block of our relationship, another pleasant memory to file.

    Glad you decided to beginning blogging again. Looks like nothing happened in 2009 or you were really busy.

    Thanks, Ron. I was busy but mostly is was a horrible year. I’m trying to easy myself back into blogging trying not to let the perfectionist, OCD-side of me take over.
