It takes up to 2GB SD card but we are using a couple of 1GB cards as they are so cheap and we can just exchange them out. The 1GB card holds almost 30 minutes of video. Since we mostly take stills and just short video clips, the 1GB has been plenty for us so far. Now if we ever make it to the Bahamas or the Virgin Islands, we might need a bigger cards. :-) Actually we found the camera at buy.com.
